CMLI summer confab goes to Banaue in May

The Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. (CMLI) will be holding its 40th National Summer Convention of Junior Members and Teachers Advisers at the Banaue Ethnic Village and Pine Forest Resort, Banaue, Ifugao.

From May 16-20, 2018, students and teachers from grade school to senior high school will be participating in activities that are aligned with the theme, “Embrace Diversity and SHINE: Sustaining a Harmonious Impact Towards Nation-Building and Excellence.”

The highlights of the event are the Project Feasibility Study (PFS) or Project Proposal Making, capped by a PFS defense session of community or school-based projects that will be planned and implemented by the participating schools.

The activity will also showcase commission discussions and group dynamics sessions, featuring topics related to leadership training, values formation, interpersonal relations, community outreach and immersion, and mass communications.

There will also be several competitions for excellence and entertainment, as well as the search for Mr. and Ms. Summercon, and other workshops, sports festivals, and social activities among others.
