DTI OrMin recognizes its first DTI Suking Tindahan in Calapan City

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, Nov. 9 (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Oriental Mindoro Provincial Office recognized recently its first DTI Suking Tindahan in this city.

DTI OrMin Provincial Director Arnel E. Hutalla spearheaded the awarding of “DTI Suking Tindahan: Sulit at Risonableng Presyo” to Calapan Golden Eagle Mart, Inc. at its own store premises located along Juan Luna St., San Vicente North, Calapan City.

DTI Suking Tindahan program was conceived by Secretary Ramon Lopez to heed the call of consumers for reasonable prices of basic and prime commodities being offered by sari-sari stores nationwide.

DTI OrMin nowadays is will roll-out the program all over the province.

The recognized Suking Tindahan, according to Hutalla, is a homegrown wholesaler in Calapan City that is committed to sell basic necessities and prime commodities (BNPCs) within Suggested Retail Prices (SRPs).

The program seeks to enable common Filipino families to access BNPCs at reasonable prices.

Hutalla said the program is open to all major sari-sari stores, wholesalers, and cooperatives that are willing to sell basic and prime commodities within or lower their suggested retail prices (SRPs).  (LTC/DTI-OrMin/PIA-Mimaropa/Calapan)
