Ilagan BADACs pledge to strenghten anti-drug campaign

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Oct. 9 (PIA) – The new officers and members of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) of this city pledged to  partner with the city government to strengthen anti-drug campaign during their oath taking ceremony held at the city’s Community Center recently.

Mayor Evelyn Diaz who administered the oath taking said BADACs have big roles in eradicating the proliferation of illegal drugs in their respective areas.

She said BADAC officers and members are persons in authority to thwart any illegal activities in their places.

“I urged each and everyone of you to work hand-in-hand in the fight against illegal drugs because we want our city to be drug-free,” Diaz said.

Present during the event are Isabela Police Chief S/Supt. Mariano Rodriguez, City of Ilagan Police chief Supt. Rafael Pagalilauan, City Local Government Operations Officer Raul Melegrito, Liga ng Mga Barangay Federation President Gaylor Malunay , members of the City of Ilagan Council and other stakeholders. (PIA 2- Isabela)
