Janella Salvador launches self-titled debut album

Teenage star Janella Salvador has reached a milestone in her musical career as she launched her first song album last week.

In an interview with entertainment reporters, Janella disclosed that she cannot believe that she is now considered as a bona fide recording artist.

It all came just so fast. Sometimes, I just cannot absorb that I’ve achieved this already – to have an album. I do not know what I have done to deserve this. All I do is just to enjoy everything. It is such an honor to be called the ‘OPM Pop Sweetheart’ because not everyone gets to have a title. It is so different and overwhelming,” she said.

Star Music has earlier released some of her songs on Spotify, including “Harana na na na na,” “Kapag tumibok ang puso,” and the song composed by Jamie Rivera entitled, “Ganyan talaga.

Other tracks included in Janella’s self-titled album are “Tick Tock Love,” “Dear Heart,” “Teka Muna Pag-Ibig,” “I Can,” and “Mahal Kita Pero.”

Last November, Janella was also surprised that Hong Kong Disneyland has chosen her to be one of the singers who will perform the theme park’s 10th anniversary theme song.

So honored. Dreams do come true, and Disney never fails to prove that. Happy Birthday, HK Disneyland,” the young singer-actress posted on Instagram.
