CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Sept. 27 (PIA)–The Regional Development Council (RDC) of Northern Mindanao has approved during its 116th Full Council Meeting the establishment of the Regional Government Center (RGC) in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental
Designed as a one-stop government center, the proposed RGC would serve a venue where various national government and regional line agencies can locate thereby facilitating fast and efficient delivery of services.
Establishing the RGC in Alubijid is seen to ease the congestion in Cagayan de Oro, and jumpstart growth and stimulate economic activities in the neighboring rural areas.
The proposed site, within the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) Technological Park, is about 13 kilometers from the Laguindingan Airport and about 35 kilometers from Cagayan de Oro.
