NV youth leaders get local governance exposure

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Oct. 3 (PIA) – Secondary students from various schools in the province were given exposure on local governance management as part of the activities lined-up for the Children’s Month celebration.

Flordelina Granada, Provincial Social Welfare and Development officer (PSWDO) said the young “local government officials” are set to be presented next month during the Provincial Children’s Month Celebration with the theme: “Kahirapan Wakasan,Karapatan ng Bata ,Ipaglaban”.

She said the “young officials” were chosen through an election supervised by the PSWDO and members of the Provincial Sub Committee for the Welfare of Children (PSCWC) and the Department  of Education (DepEd).

Granada said the role playing activity will offer an experience and understanding on the responsibilities of the provincial leaders towards the operation and management of the provincial government.

The 2018 Young Officials of the province are Young Governor: Keneith Natura – Bambang National High School, Young Vice Governor: Kim Andrei Roxas – Lamo National High School in Dupax del Norte town, Young Provincial Administrator: Mylene May Andres – Diadi National High School, Young SP Secretary: Joanna Poyatos – Dupax Del Sur National High School(DDNHS) and  Board Members:  Isaac Divina – Casat NHS in Bayombong,  Robinson Camarillo – Bagabag NHS,  Merry Claire Dingcog – Kayapa HS,  Shaina Marie Napoles – Tuao HS,  Naeztin Bien Agustin – Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School(NVGCHS),  John Raymond Valiente – Dupax del Norte NHS,  Carlo Paulo Corpuz – Munguia NHS,  Nicole Betina Pascual – Philippine Science High School – Cagayan Valley Campus,  Nickson Millo – Sta.
